For patients combining acupuncture with ART, it is recommended to start acupuncture treatments 2-3 months prior to ART with 1 treatment/week until stimulation cycle. Then, it’s recommended to come in 2 treatments/week.

Berkeley Acupuncture Clinic offers a 4-week pre-birth acupuncture treatments starting at 36 weeks. These treatments prepare the body for natural labor. The clinic also sees patients regularly for acupuncture-assisted labor induction. Generally, only 1 session is required to start labor.
